'Navigating Wellness' with Aurah
Why we partnered with Aurah to help you 'navigate wellness'.
"Aside from the fact that we’re both brands with roots in Kerala, our coming together is a part of our larger purpose. Through our own experiences and trial and error, we, as individuals and brand founders, have come a long way in finding this purpose. Our intention is to help you navigate the often confusing world of wellness.
Our collaboration is founded on the belief that true wellness is holistic - it encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. We're committed to building a community of like-minded individuals who are all striving to be their best selves."

Are you under-eating/undernourished?
Hannah Muthoot from Aurah and our founder Elizabeth Issac share their insights on nourishment based on learning and experience.
"Growing up as young women, we have felt the immense pressure to fit a certain body image. As a result, turning to what we believed were quick ways to lose weight: from counting calories, skipping meals, detox diets to name a few. Not realizing the long term effects of under eating/nourishing has on your body."
Here are some tips to help you navigate your way to a happier and healthy body.
#1:
As someone who has struggled managing my weight, I’m grateful that education about eating WELL and BALANCED is more prevalent today. What has helped me in my journey is to view food as a form of nourishment.
#2
🌿Ditch the Diet: instead of chasing diets, I learnt the importance of crowding out. Choosing foods that nourish my body: colorful fruits and veggies, quality protein, and including good fats.
#3
🌿 Stop rushing for results: instead of racing with myself to reach my weight goal, I chose compassion and patience in making small consistent changes in my daily meals and routine for long term results.
#4
🌿 Focus on quality, not quantity: By restricting myself and failing multiple times, I decided to adopt an abundance mindset. Eating foods that suit my body by listening to how I feel after a meal (bloated, tired, light), and naturally making less room for processed junk.
#5
🌿Ask for help: Working with a nutritionist/health coach helped in figuring out what works for me (eg. food intolerances) which caused inflammation and other side effects tricking me into thinking that I was gaining weight. It resulted in a vicious cycle of eating less without getting to the root cause. An expert monitoring my eating and progress helped me understand my unique body and triggers.
